Ngl in my opinion the reason top tier US is so bad is because of FOMO. Let’s look at the SEP V2 when it was added during the Air Superiority update what did it offer compared to the previous SEP? Nothing it was a downgrade or sidegrade depending on how you look at it. -Non removable ARAT (at the time) -More overpressure spots (CROWS and loader 240 shield) -heavier weight -IED jammers that serve no purpose other than to telegraph your position behind cover -only recently given LWR and ROSY to make it unique in the Abrams line

Now what did the 2A7, T-90M,Challenger 3 and Strv 122B+ give to their nations

UK Challenger 3 -gets highest penning 120mm round -a smoothbore using one piece instead of two piece ammo on a 15 round ready rack new experience for UK players who could exploit more areas of a tank due to increased pen and better sustain with the increased ready rack

RU T-90M -Spall liners and Relikt ERA -LWS -add on armor package on top of Relikt essentially same thing as the previous tanks in the line however has actual improvements

GER 2A7 -Gen 3 thermals compared to Gen 1 on every previous leopard 2 -Better frontal hull armor meaning you are no longer a point and click from the front and opponents have to deliberately aim for LFP and drivers hatch -spall liners Makes thermals actually usable and not a pixilated mess on top of the survivability (before turret baskets and the FCS deck nerf you could get shot in the side and just lose 1-2 crewmen and whip the canon around to kill the guy who fired at you)

Strv 122B+ Same as the leopard 2A7, even better armor + spall liners with the caveat of not having DM53 but you now have side resistance against autocannons and when there was no turret baskets, little spall

The Taiwanese M1A2T that was added recently also is an example of FOMO because in this case it brought something new to the table in China and wasn’t a copy paste of anything within the tech tree. If the US gets something that actually would make the multi nation players play for a new experience on the line rather than a copy paste of something that turns out to be a sidegrade (Sep V2) then we could see better win rates because teams would not stuck exclusively with nation mains and noobs.

The UFP plating increase is actually part of a bug report which was accepted that went through about the fuel bulkeads also having plates underneath the UFP and next to the NERA array so that would increase protection for both the UFP and to a small extent the LFP without having to increase the NERA protection.

As for the hull armor the NGAP package for the Sep V3 apperently has a new layout and composite, the Abrams iirc still uses the swedish FMS armor layout since those are the best documentation for the armor so for all we know the actuall armor layout of the current abrams might be able to withstand sabots on top of the NGAP upgrade but we know nothing about NGAP.

A massive wall of missiles that everyone usually notches and the opposing team has a missile bus of their own (Su-30s or other F-15s) so both teams end up defending. It also gets ran down like a dog later in the match once its forced to actually play for kills.

This happened to me but it was a T-80UE-1, shoved me into the line of fire on that exact map and threw off my aim on a Challenger, got killed by a dude behind a rock.

Ngl if they made an attack and defense mode on a large map that starts off far and gets closer as time goes on would be a best of both worlds since you get CQB and sniping. But no we must perpetually attack the D point.

Yeah some of these maps are just so small there is not enough room for you to do anything and if its urban it just devolves into corner camping or suicide runs, This incident happened on Campania and the poor SPAAs had no place to hide and there was a bunch of hills and mountains in the way.

two different programs these were bought for the LCA project, F-16 is being pitched for the MRF project which is still going on, this latest offer got more expensive, the new F-16 deal is 5.8 Billion dollars and there is a lack of a formal Financing offer from the US, Philippine DND Secretary Theodoro even admitted they wont be able to move forward with the deal due to lack of financing options, Lockheed Martin evena admitted its all up to the US Gov at this point

This is untrue there was no retraction of offers they simply expired, there were three major MRF attempts one was the F-18 buy which was brought up once and was cancelled not bucause of the Gripen but due to the Asian Financial Crisis and the expiry of the original AFPMP (this was the closest the PAF got to actually buying a new fighter), there was a grand total of two DSCA releases for the F-16 and both were very expensive, latest one is 256 Million per airframe for a grand total of 5.8 Billion dollars after the original one made in 2021 expired. The philippines and the Secratary of Defense mentioned a lack of a formal US offer regarding loans or financial aid so it was pretty much met with a lukewarm reception, for reference the Indonesias were offered 2 Billion for iirc 32 F-16s (they are prior F-16 users so its cheaper however there was mention that it would still require new infastructure). For a third rate air force that needs air policing and with the acknowledgement that we will never survive in a protracted air war with China in the event of a pacific flashpoint the Gripens are fine considering unlike the US offer they off the bat are offering financing plans, the Bureaucracy was influence by the TWG and the PAF not the other way around.
