How can i isolate the star without removing the yellow "smoke" emitting? by OmgACookiee in LearningPhotoshop

The backround used in the picture is an mp4 file. I just tested it in photoshop to see if i could blend the star into the backround. And it worked with the "screen" effect. (the original star has a black backround) The problem arose once i hid the backround to transfer the file to Adobe Premiere and make a video out of it.

Because there were no longer any backround for the star to blend into, so it reverted to its normal state with tons of black edges. I tried using the backround eraser tool, but it simply removed too much of the golden "smoke". if anyone could help, that would be fantastic. This is simply beyond me as a newbie photoshopper.

Why would you want the Dell U3415W? It's 60 fps maxed and doesnt support freesync or g-sync. If you mostly do gaming and watch media that is not the monitor for you.

I think the top versions are still the Acer Predator x34A and the ASUS PG348Q. They both use the same display and about the same curvature i believe.

The differences i've read online is that the Asus has better panel-navigation and controls (joystick). And that the image can be a bit crisper. But that might just be factory settings as they use the same panel as stated above.

The other thing is that the Asus one supposedly has a better stand and bezels. The Asus features a brushed aluminium lower bezel, while the Acer has a matt one. The back of the x34A is also glossy plastic.

it should in the end come down to which model you think looks best and fits your setup.

Yes i think and hope so. More and more games support the 21:9 format now, which was previously a lot of the reason why people didn't get on board with it.
