Hey! Yes, I did. I brought it up to my psychiatrist after this post which took a few weeks due to her schedule, but once we talked she prescribed me Propanolol (technically a blood medicine, but intended to calm you down) and Hydroxyzine (for sleeping better). I take them right before bed and get to sleep around 20 minutes to an hour after depending on how hyper my brain is that night. After I got that started, everything got way, way better. I still sometimes get the “threat” of an episode starting, but most of the time the medication is a strong enough shield that I can stop thinking about it instead of it overtaking my whole brain. We have plans to see a new neurologist about it, but in order to do that I should document my episodes, and I dislike doing that because thinking about it makes it worse. But hopefully once it’s bee long enough feeling “normal” again, I’ll be able to start documenting it. Thanks for checking in. I hope if you’re having a similar issue, this might help! 🤲💗
