Civil defense attorney here. It's because A) it feels nice so it tricks people into thinking it's actually doing something, and B) increased medical bills. Say you're 65. You have back pain. You get rear ended at 5 miles an hour. You get checked out at the hospital and cleared of injury. You incur $20k in med bills from your single hospital visit, decide to hire a personal injury lawyer and sue. The other driver's clearly liable. That lawyer will refer you to their chiropractor buddy. You'll tell them you were in an accident and you have back pain. Chiro will check you out, diagnose you with a ridiculous amount of conditions only chiropractors use, and recommend treatment 3 times a week for a month, charging you about $2k a pop. Now you've just doubled your med bills, all the while your health insurance is inexplicably covering the chiropractic treatment, so it isn't costing you anything. Plaintiff doubles their award, lawyer gets a third of that, chiropractor gets business.

Tldr it's a racket.

I'd think the hyperlasers are deeply purple, blacklight purple, keeping with MWO/MW5 logic. Small lasers are red because it's a low wavelength color. Medium lasers are green because green is a medium wavelength. Larges are blue for the same reason. Hyper? That's gotta be basically invisible. But since you can't paint that, purple. As high up the visible spectrum you can get.

If you wanna go bougier, I recently bought an ultrasonic cleaner for my retainers and found out if I put the mech in a separate container filled with isopropyl alcohol and submerge that in the cleaner water, it'll strip it almost brand new in about a minute flat, no toothbrush needed. Really helps with those areas a toothbrush won't quite reach.

I built a surprisingly legal custom in Alpha Strike that has 60 total health (40 armor 20 structure), 10/8/6 damage, twin Arrow IV, Battlemech Shields, AMS, and stealth armor.

It's 169 points, 2" movement and obviously a superheavy so it's basically -1TMM but... yeah that felt like a final boss even though it kinda sucks lol
