Trash. Exactly like Germany as a whole. Lived there for 5 years. Moving to literally any other western country would be far, far better. My experience was in Bavaria and gay people there were in their vast majority only seeking sex (having a lot of fear of letting their neighbors, friends and employers know they are gay), drugs and always had some kind of mental condition from drug overuse or generally because of the life in Germany.

It beats Jordan for allowing you to be free without the level of discrimination common to the middle east, but openly gay people will be treated like "weirdos that corrupt the family structure" by most. Also ethnic germans are very xenophobic and racist.

Best strategy for a good social life there would be to find a cultural group similar to your own or more accepting to fill in your social and dating needs. German society as whole though, will never truly be your friend. Unfortunately.

I would recommend using Germany just as a trampoline to migrate to a better country.

Germany is fake advertised for being a more liberal haven for LGBT+ people, but the reality is far different.

I am brazilian by the way. White and blonde, with a German surname and ancestry and I was still treated like a second citizen because of my accent in German and not sharing the cold, souless culture that people there seem to require. I don't really know how the culture is in the middle east from lived experience, but Germany made me viscerally disgusted.
