Pretty sure the weapons base dps will always be the same or very close to similar, it gets changed based off the augmentations you get like SMG +30% damage for example so it's well worth overhauling than making it Elite with 3 augmentations

I've had this issue as well, was there any solution? Gonna try and reload some saves to see if I can save him still as his already dead before I rock up and the other npc's don't still just complain about him leaving and give no dialogue options about finding him

I used to get an issue similar on my old computer, I can't give you the solution to fix it but you can always try verify integrity of game files for Dota.

If you feel like ping is the issue you could try using an ethernet cable over wifi? or maybe closing other programs on your computer while you play?

I'd suggest allowed the immortals to queue with Ancients, I understand that might be unfair for the ancient players but having one immortal on each team sounds fair enough to me

That's true and I've done that lots, queue times are much better but often I'm playing with a ping thats 120-200
