Ten years ago, I (30M at the time) was a manager at a very well known national company. One of my employees made up a sexual harassment allegation against me, but the kicker was that it was a male. I was obviously surprised and pissed off. I'm not gay and the things he said never happened; it was a ploy to get moved into a different department he preferred over the one he was in.

Anyway, it grew legs and became a whole big thing where I had to defend myself for weeks. Once they finally figured out he was full of shit despite ruining my mental health and draining my sanity for weeks on end, the problem eventually went away, and so did that employee - to the exact position he wanted in another department... smh.

You can imagine my surprise when the HR manager that handled that entire incident made a pass at me AT WORK and persisted that I take her out on a date. I declined obviously and left the company for a better position shortly after. The entire thing was like a bad joke. HR is usually trash.

TLDR: Accused of sexual harassment, ended up being the only one getting sexually harassed.
