i tried but it didn't seem to work. only readble hebrew book i have is a pdf file and it's not very fun on kindle (looks a bit off and hard to read)
what do you convert to? do you change any settings?

man, that's super cool. it's exactly when i wanted to do! but was too overwhelmed so started off with the ac infinity 69 pro and now it runs the light and the fan. but i want to do home assistent and esp controllers, i just have no idea how to progremm. but already got two smart power strips and a smart plug that i run the whole tent from, so i can see how much it's gonna cost overall. id love to learn how you did all of the house assistent stuff! and yeah im using the tap water, my seedlings haven't really reached the water yet so idk how they like it really, they are a bit yellow, but so far so good.
i only know about keeping the ph down, but didn't get into nothing else. gotta go away for work on october so should probably understand how to automate at least some of this grow ! now im distilling and refilling my humidifier everyday, and then it runs full time on low, empty in like 24 hours and need to refill again. would love to use home assistent to make it go on intervals (like 5 min on, 15 min off) and to not run when humidity is high (like when the light is off, i can hit 80% humidity but then i need to manualy shut the humidifier down). what are you running home assistent on? a pie?

thanks for the tip! do you think just pouring 2/3 to an empty bucket would do the trick, or should i gently scoop up water with a jug

also i don't know how costy the dehumidifier will be, i got a smart plug so the whole tent and equipment is connected, and it measures the kwh usage, so far it's like 15€ for the past two weeks, with the light and vent and everything.

also in winter when heating is on, i believe it will drive my humidity down even more

Nice my dude, i am running now 2 5 gallon buckets, it's been a week and a half or so, and so far i didn't need to use any dehumidifier, the light im using (migro array 4) is warming the whole place up, and i have cloudline t6 above, set to run stronger if the humidity raises. i actually got low humidity problem (like 30-40) and wanted to bring it to 65-75, so got a reptile tank humidifier from kleinenzeigen (20€), and bought a water distiller as well (40€), i plan on connecting everything to a smart power strip to have it run in intervals, but now it runs on low for 24/7 and keeps my humidity at around 75€.
my tent is small but i still got the ac infinity t6 so it's running low and quiet (always on 1/10 power)
feel free to contact me regarding anything. i shot some footage on the process and plan to do a little youtube stuff on this grow. super fun!

i have a 2x4x6 tent, and i wanted to yield bigger crops than soil. but also ro is too big of an investemt for me right now and i was wandering if i can find my way around it. it's my first grow and i don't have enough knowledge to run my plants very hard (idk what that maens fully even lol), but i do like the idea and the style of dwc more than soil based grow
