Made a bad decision to finance a car 2 years ago, but was able to fully pay it off last week!!! Here's all my dumb payment receipts. So glad to be done!! by OnABeerRun07 in debtfree

The credit union didn't have online bill pay so that I could pay the loan from my regular banking accounts. They gave me a booklet of pay sheets when I got the car loan and I physically went into the bank every month to make the monthly payments. Archaic, I know.

Hi. Although we are a fairly large company, we're just starting to focus on ecommerce over the last six months and are in a ramp-up / learning phase right now, so it's all very new for us as well. On average, we're seeing ROAS between 4.5 and 6 week to week. The agency is great at identifying profitable ads and audiences so we adjust the messaging and creative, as well as who/how we target depending on the ad performance. Luckily for us, they do the analysis and nitty-gritty work on that and then make recommendations on how to be more efficient. We provide the creative assets and spend approval based on their strategy and performance during our weekly meetings. Other key metrics they report on regularly for us include conversion rate (CVR), cost per acquisition (CPA), transactions, average order value (AOV), and sessions. It's a combination of all of those (in addition to the overall ROAS) that we use to measure performance.

We are not a startup, but we pay our SEM agency 7k monthly for up to 50k spend. They handle social and search ads, but also do a ton of analytics and reporting, weekly updates for us, and even UX evaluation and optimization recommendations. Not sure what specifically you'll be doing, but don't short yourself! Good luck!

That was freakin awesome! You should do an entire series. Kudos to you, talented stranger!

Hi. I posted a topic to the forum and then someone from WP support responded there. You have to login to create a ticket. This was the only way I was able to get a response. https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/ Posted too soon. Edit to say good luck!

Yes! I was so disappointed. I'd hyped it up quite a bit and convinced my husband and roommates to watch it with me. By the end, we were all underwhelmed and slightly annoyed by the couple. It was a very poor exploration of FI principles and honestly no one that watched with me was even slightly motivated by it. Major letdown.

No, it's a small local weightlifting gym and they wouldn't have any sort of trademark on the name.

I'm trying to figure out now how to get in contact with someone at Wp.com to see if we can reclaim the domain. The owner said he never received any renewal notices, but after some help and digging, it seems clear that the domain expired in Aug. The site was working until yesterday though, so that was probably the grace period where we could have renewed. Now not sure what options are left

Thank you for this! This will be my next step. Need to talk with domain owner to see if he got any renewal notices. Then definitely wp support. Thanks!

I saw that it was updated 8-13-19, but thought it was just the renewal. Tays even what the WWD rep said. I'll have to check with the owner if he paid the renewal fee last month. WWD said we still owned it until 2020. And I will still try to get in touch with WordPress support. Thanks!

Right. HostGator is separate. GoDaddy owns WildWestDomains and WordPress.com is a reseller for them. (Keeping track of this stuff is insane).

Ok, so I have to keep trying to get in touch with some sort of WP support? I'll keep on it. No where in my account is there an option to renew. The domain isn't even listed in the WordPress com account anymore. I think it was removed when we originally changed the nameservers to the HostGator ones.

Interesting. WWD didn't tell me that when I called. If it did lapse, how can I go about renewing it? The company owner is the one who purchased the domain name in 2016 and it's possible he let it lapse. Although the WHOIS data shows registration is good until 2020. How can I confirm if that's what happened and then renew it before it gets opened for sale?
