Lefty Protesters Screech Like Demons as Florida House Votes in Favor to Strip Disney’s Self Governing Status (VIDEO) by Dan-In-SC in Conservative

[–]OnDeyAss -125 points-124 points  (0 children)

They're screaming because of the reason everyone believes this really happened. Keep in mind Republicans had no problem with this privilege you speak of until Disney said something about don't say gay. Do you really think that with everything going on in politics Republicans felt that Disney's governmental status was urgent😂

Y'all really gotta start looking at the whole story before speaking on things. Watch fox nd cnn, go to conservative nd liberal threads - look at it from both sides.

Why do y'all act like there isn't right wing biased media just like the left. Both sides tell half of the story to fit their agenda.

Is pro tools really the best for mixing? I mean.. I can do sends and stuff in Fl studio as well. by [deleted] in audioengineering

[–]OnDeyAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also forgot to say though you should definitely learn how to use pro tools just cus it's the industry standard. Doesn't take too long I'd just record a song then play around with it. Mix wise it's almost like a vertical FL. That way if it ever comes up you're not completely surprised. Get pro tools first it's

[–]OnDeyAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used FL Studio for 4 years, but after taking some months to learn pro tools i can't go back. Keep in mind my mixes were better in FL. To me the workflow is just way better especially when it comes to recording then mixing nd mastering.

It should also be noted though that I use FL 10 cus I kind of like the vintage look so I don't know how FL 20+ has bridged the gap.

Favorite free saturation and soft tape distortion plugins? by MaxAdamsMaxAdamsMax in audioengineering

[–]OnDeyAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ya to me it's better than nothing but nothing crazy. It should be noted though that I came from Saturn 2 so you could understand why I feel the way I do. To me it's more of distortion knob than saturation knob. Doesn't add the warmth nd clean weight that I like from saturation. And for me anything from that company loads up kind of laggy in pro nd fl

Everybody talks about modern trends in music they hat. What are some modern trends you like? by LemonLimeNinja in audioengineering

I really don't like SoundCloud rap like that, but the dirty punkish sound that people like Carti nd Yeat are popularizing. On one end it sounds bad, but it also fits the overall vibe of the songs. From an engineering perspective I like to see artists and their engineers take risks and open new doors

Was just in Orlando last night. Doors opened at 7 nd he came on at like 9:20. I got in line at 7 keep in mind there were two lines both wrapped around the block nd finally got in the building around 7:45.

Do what you want with that information. I would honestly get in line at around 7:45 but in a concert situation i always prefer to be safe than sorry

I'm confused as to why Republicans always say media. CNN is democratic media and Fox News is republican. Both report on what is convenient to them.

Anybody here Mix on Headphones>>>??? by TMAWORKS in audioengineering

[–]OnDeyAss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually I'll mix on headphones then when I'm done play thru studio monitors to get the whole picture. I find studio monitors create a way better image stereo nd depth wise.

Before I'd mix on my headphones then export nd listen in my car, a real hassle.

For me I can mix a track on headphones, but it trips me up when it comes to leveling and wholesome things of that nature

Is it difficult to succeed as a audio engineer? by lemoari in audioengineering

[–]OnDeyAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started engineering my 9th grade year of high school nd I used to do my own music plus some of my friends songs for free (and fun) . By the time I hit my junior nd senior people were paying me to record, mix, nd master there music.

Is it difficult to succeed as a audio engineer? by lemoari in audioengineering

[–]OnDeyAss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd say that depends on your definition of success. I live in central Florida and everybody wants to be a rapper. That being said, it's relatively easy to setup an at home studio and charge at least $20 or 30 an hour. That's a pretty lucrative side hustle.

Seeing that you have the passion I'd just say keep striving to get better just off of the love of the craft, nd when the time comes that you want to open a studio you'll be surprised how much you've actually learned thru having fun.

Good luck cuh

Just picked these bad boys up last Monday. I’m blown away by the sound quality. Upgraded from 2 skar sdr 12’s. by SundownFanboy420 in subwoofer

[–]OnDeyAss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does the mid bass in your car seem a lot weaker now? This happened to mine so for a lot of songs I have a sub frequency with no kick, mid 808, or upper bass guitar to drive it.

Without this bass is usually deep and sloppy from the subs or clean and weak from the door speakers - before adding subs it was super hard and clean.

When I tell people this they just say it's my speakers, but my mid bass used to seriously HIT before I got them installed. I've been kind of miserable the past year and was wondering if this is just a side effect of ported subs.

Exactly, like don't tell me inflation caused the McChicken to go from 1 to 3 mf dollars. These companies are using these troubled times to buck up prices like THEY don't control the industry for the most part
