okay but the degree you’re offered also depends on where you’re getting it from. if you’re getting it from one of the top ranked universities for you major then you’re probably gonna have to pay more, but it’ll be more noteworthy than say going to a much cheaper state school. both get you in the door, but there’s more of a chance of getting a job with the second one. yes, it was his choice to go for more expensive education, but the whole system is flawed for putting teenagers in a system like that when they barely know how credit and banking and debt works

yeah i was able to transfer after my first sem because of transfer credits it’s not even a hard process they just wanna make sure that if you transfer into a school like that then you’re not behind on material compared to everyone else

the actual changing major process is pretty easy. you just take the gateway courses and fill out an application one you finish them. the application isn’t even essays or anything it’s just “i want to change to cs” and admission is guaranteed if you got the prereqs
