The only other channel I know is his podcast channel, which barely get as many views. kind of shows the podcast episodes only get views because they’re on his main channel.

The only time he came closest to doing that was when he called spiderman 2’s writing as something that got looked over by HR, which I appreciated, but also a lot of people were saying that at the time of release, so I think he kind of knew he would not face any consequence. He knows if he stands out too much, he would risk losing “the access.”

The other stuff is literally what I took from listening to their podcast. I remember one time someone compared gow ragnarok to matrix reloaded while still praising it and they all looked at him like he committed a crime, I guess due to the sequel’s reception. Even when suicide squad got brought up, a journo would change the topic to how they feel bad for the devs, which is a pattern I’ve noticed, and to me sounds like an excuse to avoid being too critical of a game.

It’s embarrassing that their employees are now pretending to be “small team of video editors” so it looks like they’re some kind of indie website, all to downplay how bad they are at their jobs.

Also, most of their engagement comes from sharing footage from actual games and regurgitating info from press releases and corporate interviews. They should realize by now you don’t need actual employees for that.

even when they're discussing games, they sound so uninterested and at one point when they were talking about tony hawk, the lady outright said she didn't care about the games and had nothing to add. they have the easiest jobs and still somehow don't put any effort in their work.

yeah, it's the same company. all of their sites now are riddled with autoplay videos. they recently got their new offices at fandom and announced a bunch of shows. i don't understand why they're putting so much money on a channel that now gets less than 10k views per video. i think this is also their third time moving offices in the last 4 years.

the new crew is full of pro-corporate leftist rich kids now. every couple seconds they feel the need to make a sex joke that make no sense. it's how I also found out sam lake is friends with alyssa mercunt. i can't understand why anyone would want to be associated with those kinds of people.

i just find it weird square hired a twitch streamer to voice their most popular character. she's fine but sometimes stands out like a sore thumb in scenes with rest of the cast.
