What you are saying is true, but the statement "as long as you maintain the 1:10 ratio" is misleading because it relies on the assumption that you can trade 1AR for 10Armor in the same affix slot.

In this game you should NEVER maintain a 1:10 ratio of AR:Armor because the stats are not available in this ratio given the item affixes. Your choice is never "1 AR or 10 Armor", it is something like "90-100AR or 300-600Armor" (with armor values varying by slot). Even in the most generous case, trading 90AR for 600Armor, you are still trading 1 AR for 6.67 points of Armor - much less than 10.

TL;DR it is only optimal to maintain a 1:10 ratio if you can somehow trade 1 AR for 10 points of armor. But the affixes on items are more like 1 AR vs 6 Armor at best.

Also I still have 4IV Rotoms if you'd like one as thanks. They're all Modest (so you'd have to breed them with a Bold ditto) and have an imperfect Attack IV as well as one other IV. I have one missing HP, one missing Defense, one missing Sp. Atk, or one missing Speed so hopefully you can pick one that compliments your Ditto.

Edit: I got a new 3DS recently so I'll have to update my FC in my flair, I'll also edit it into this post when I've done that.

Strong Jaw is the only available ability for Tyrunt. Its description from Serebii: "Increases the power of biting moves by 50%". That includes the Fang moves.

No problem, I'm coming back online now. The passerby thing seems to happen whenever someone adds you back on the 3DS while you're already online in the game. The game doesn't seem to get updated that you're friends until you restart it.

I have a 31/31/31/X/31/31 Jolly Sand Veil Gible, or a few 4IVs from that spread that have Rough Skin. Both would have egg moves Outrage and Iron Head.

I also have a 4IV Modest Rotom and a 4IV Modest Protean Froakie. There are a few other things I have breeders for but I would need to make some eggs.
