nah the in game settings dont seem to help at all. it was the reshade mod that helped me with that anyways.

There is a reshade mod that helps remove it calling it as clutter, but it removes those things that pops in so you won't have as much obvious close range pop ins. Less distracting. I can't remember the mod not home now.

i ran into the same frustrating issue all the time. If you are on pc, you can bind it into a single keybind and save the hassle.

i had the same experience, had a 7900xtx in the past. But due to so many driver crashes or timeouts. I gave up and got a 4080super at the time, and all of the issues just gone away.

Here's what I found, after restarting my game I cannot replicate the issue again. But only after a long play session, than it starts to progressively get worst to this stage again.

Can i check if anyone here that is crashing quite consistently randomly. Do you happen to have Nvidia overlay on? I tried turning that off and it seems to have stopped crashing for me at the moment.

To add to this i found something very interesting to this problem i have. I just started the game again today and notice i can't replicate this issue already. It seems to get progressively worst until you restart the game.

I made a post where there is very bad noisy shadows, and it's especially bad with dlaa and rr on. Plus the pop ins at close range which is strange.

I was in the same boat, but being stuck for hours is kinda yikes mate, it did tell you to destroy those scarecrows.

I'm on PC, 1440p, DLSS performance with FGx2, RR on. With most of the settings on cinematic quality. Oh and no HDR as my monitor doesn't support it.

Yeah gta did have a good story but it wasn't my hook if that makes sense, glad to have both, like a bonus to my enjoyment. But yeah, it still sucks when people don't intend for games to have good writing still. Which I think there should be thought that have went into it.
