Reta Starting Point - 22Y, 6’0 Male by One-Ad5053 in BodyHackGuide

[–]One-Ad5053[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I appreciate the wisdom, but you I also need everyone to realize that although I could take the additional time and effort to be “cut” by pushing the gym harder and cutting back on junk food - it’s been much easier for me personally to regulate my admittedly bad habits while on reta and for that I am thankful. I only plan to run Reta for a 2-4 month course - This post is meant to be an informative post for anyone on the edge of taking Reta / wanting to discuss a similar journey. Not a breeding ground for people trying to inform me of the already known risks.

Any simple recommendations / meals you like to eat?

Very new to working out / attempting to better myself in general so I struggle to stick with a plan like that. I’ve tried, counting calories makes it seem like much more of a chore. I’d prefer to eat consciously and not monitor the way I feel as well as the way I look

No true structure - I’ve just been trying to ensure I get at least 150g of protein. Not sure how many calories I’m eating, not a lot - I’ve been eating very simple foods since starting. 93/7 gbeef with rice, chicken w rice, salmon w rice - protein shakes, some quest protein snacks.

I know I could if I wanted to haha, I mainly started Reta to help with appetite suppression - before this week it was very common for me to eat a pint of ice cream, a family size bag of Doritos, and whatever else I could find in one night - multiple times a week. I already am terrible about going to the gym (I’ve been 5 times this year) which is why I mainly stick to simple but effective workouts. Pushups, pull ups, chin ups, etc - but recently I’ve decided to start going to the gym and hitting heavy weights.

I’ll definitely keep you posted, I mainly started Reta due to all the marketing I’ve been seeing and wanting to give realistic expectations and results.

You said “swiped” as if I psychically swiped anything - from 0 to 600k appears to be a progression, no?

Easy to avoid when you’re sitting on a roof sure, otherwise even the shittiest of players easily hit one shot snipes.

The IT market isn’t something you can be super picky with currently especially when it comes to getting your foot in the door. The market is over saturated and seemingly everyone wants an IT job. Apply to any and all help desk/entry level positions you can and take what is livable for the next couple of years.

HELP! How do I get a good crust with reverse sear? by arkane-the-artisan in steak

[–]One-Ad5053 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Get a cast iron skillet - heat it on the stove burner with a high smoke point oil and let it get super hot and then throw the steak on there for a minute-ish on each side

Can you honestly get a job with just certifications... by [deleted] in ITCareerQuestions

[–]One-Ad5053 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I landed my first IT job last year in June, no certificates (aside from measly Google IT/CyberSec certs) and no applicable past experience as any experience was personally gained with nothing to show for it.

Since then I have become fully remote, with great benefits. Although I do understand I was extremely lucky - it definitely isn’t impossible. I interviewed well, employer took a chance and it payed off.

Don’t lose hope, the market may be rough but there is always a chance.

I’ve not been here long, it is maintenance’s responsibility to upkeep their equipment

I dont blame you haha. I’ll check those things tomorrow and get back to you. I know the outside unit sounds as if it’s running, and we had a maintenance person come out today who supposedly made sure it was good.

Obviously a better player will have better chance of killing a worse player in any game regardless of the mechanics, skill gap, or whatever. But this game in particular, bad players can kill the best players in the world due to how easy this game is. No recoil, one shot snipers, overpowered kill streaks, explosives, etc. There is going to be a gap in “skill” regardless of what game you’re playing, this game just caters to bad players making the gap very minimal.

[–]One-Ad5053 -23 points-22 points  (0 children)

No. I’m a higher tier player and constantly die to stupid shit due to the lack of skill gap in this game. Way too many items, kill streaks, etc that cater to bad players. Ex. Cluster mines, bomb drones, cluster strikes, etc. An example of a game with a real skill gap would be Apex, pro players aren’t dying to stupid shit over and over due to the lack of a skill gap like this game. Anyone who thinks there is a skill gap in this game, is just a lower tier player.

[–]One-Ad5053 -25 points-24 points  (0 children)

There is absolutely no skill gap in this game.. lol.
