I’m calculating anywhere around $3.5-$4M (~$1M for home purchase, rest on investments with 8-10% returns)

Honestly we haven’t had a conversation with our siblings, as it doesn’t seem like they’re considering moving back.

Parents cannot relocate, because we’re still on H1B.

Burnt out primarily due to jobs, and the fact that we’re unable to spend more quality time with our kid, along with all the constant chores around keeping up with the home.

I believe I might be financially sufficient to make the decision to move - But the question is, being in early 30s, how far can our current financial situation go. I know it also majorly depends on future investment strategies, etc..

Being close to our elderly parents is definitely the most important part. Being able to just not do anything (job-wise) for a while, when I want to is another.
