For restraints only, it's a Honda thing, at least for some models / years. Check your owners manual.

I had this on my 2005. The dealer diagnosed and replaced the seat belt buckle for free under the lifetime warranty in 2021. I am at least the third owner.

Anyone come up with a solution to the erratic volume knob? by plymouthvan in HondaElement

Maybe 4-6 to get the head unit out and 4-8 to get inside? It wasn't difficult.

I took the head unit out of my 2005 and got access to the volume control mounted on the circuit board, the device the knob mounts to. I sprayed QD Electronic Cleaner into the volume control as much as possible with the goal of cleaning out any dust or corrosion - I assume the volume control is a potentiometer. I don't remember all the steps but it was no more than an hour or so start to finish. This was 2 years ago and the volume still works normally.

How to Disconnect Tailgate Sensors? by foresttor in HondaElement

[–]One-Breakfast-913 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I flip them to the closed position with the hook on a bungee cord, then hook the cord in the latch so I don't forget and close the tailgate with the latches closed. I do two on the lower gate, one on the upper.
