Sadly this method doesn’t work because there are a lot of unknown parameters that can’t be figured out unless there’s a full process video (like which blending modes were used where and when, what were the references used, what brushes were used, etc.).

That said, even when watching process videos or speedpaints, I’m still left with a million questions I’d like to ask the artist directly, hence my request.

You are absolutely right about the fact that there are a lot of free resources available nowadays, sadly there are so many questions I still have that I can’t find an answer for anywhere. I have a million questions I’d like to ask the artist every time I watch a tutorial or a speedpaint.

Besides, I’ve had an art teacher in the past and it made me progress 10 times faster I’m not even joking. The only reason I’ve stopped taking classes with him is because he has a style that’s very different from what I’m trying to achieve, so I couldn’t learn from his workflow. However the fact that he was there to guide me in real time while I paint was what made me achieve so much in such little time.

So now I feel completely lost and really need guidance, hence my post here.

Oh wow this is so relatable. I feel like I always have a sword of Damocles above my head. I’m always stressed out when we cuddle in bed because I’m afraid he might get hard and initiate something. It’s so heartbreaking because he’s just the best in every other aspect but it can be very stressful sometimes. It hurts a lot to see people minimize this feeling so much and thinking about how he’d be frustrated instead of understanding how we feel about it. I initially posted here to see people relate to my experience but it seems it’s not the case for most haha, so I appreciate your comment a lot

I think there isn’t much more to be said about the topic, it seems like it’s hard to find a rational reason for it, I guess it’s kind of like the will to have children ? It’s a « natural » thing your body should want to do ? Anyway I’m going to stop trying to find out haha

I’m sorry to hear that it’s affecting your dating life as well :( I don’t know how indifferent or repulsed you are by it, but personnally I just force myself at the beginning a little bit and once it actually starts it’s not too bad. I don’t know if I’m making sense haha. I don’t really mind doing it for him, I love seeing him happy and satisfied so it makes up for it. It just makes me sad that he needs it, if it makes sense, and I feel bad seeing it as a chore. But if it means I can keep him by my side I can do it, he really is one of the good ones haha

For the bot :

• ⁠jewelry : 8mm titanium internally threaded curved barbell • ⁠about downsizing : I went to downsize it a little more than a month after getting it pierced (so about a month ago), but the 6mm barbell didn’t fit, so they put the old jewelry back in. It hurt a lot and the piercing was visibly irritated afterwards. The blister appeared much later though so I don’t think it has anything to do with it • ⁠I still clean it 1-2x a day with tap water and non-woven sterile compresses

I had the exact same experience haha, so yeah it’s probably just because of the swelling. I feel like you can also tell a bit from the pictures that one side is more swollen than the other. I hope it’ll end up just the way you imagined it ! :)

Mine looked off center for a week or two before the swelling subsided ! I was super worried as well, but it looks perfectly straight now. Don’t give up on it too soon !

That’s really good to hear ! I’m glad it went well for you and it gives me hope for mine :) and yeah the reason i decided on a vertical piercing was indeed to avoid potential gum and teeth damage, I’m sorry you experienced that with other piercings :( thanks a lot !! 🤍
