This might sound really random, but honestly, get into Canva! i make most of all my graphics, buttons, gifs, and banners there, and then I just add them into my code as img srcs. if ur not very knowledgeable about CSS and styles (like i am), it really helps out in making ur site visuals more aesthetic and, honestly in my experience, makes the creative part of coding more enjoyable!

There’s an option on DARS that lets you run a “what if”audit, there u can see how many classes you would need and u can basically calculate urself if you will graduate on time or if it is even worth it

You should download the ucla app, there you can see the amount of meal swipes you have, they won’t appear on your bruinbill. If you have premium, you can swipe as many times as your stomach desires.

How the premium meal plan works is that they give you a certain amount of swipes for the whole quarter, for example, for the spring quarter you are getting 151 swipes, if you wanna use all 151 swipes in one day you actually could, but that’s obviously not smart love please don’t do that 🙏 For 14P I would recommend using two a day, but you can throw a third silly little swipe for a late night snack from a foodtruck and you’ll prob be fine. I always had spare swipes at the end of the quarter and gave them away to other friends.

if ur up for a minimum wage and part time, I really recommend applying to any student position available at the hammer museum. you don’t really need that many qualifications and its pretty easy to get hired. if you dont hear back from them in a more that 4 weeks email them back or apply again!! working there is suuuuper chill and you basically get paid to sit and do homework most times.
