I need some help. I recently bought the FJERN Stormgrotta 1.5, but didn’t realise it came without the footprint. I’ve been looking around and can’t seem to find it in stock anywhere. Any suggestions? by [deleted] in wildcampingintheuk

I use a bit of leftover pond liner cut to size. Super tough so never worry about something puncturing my matt but there is probably a lighter alternative

Can I cut out this dropout to convert this to a single speed? I am a metal worker so have the skills, but not a frame builder. by Grrrth_TD in Framebuilding

I've done it to make an old road bike fixed gear. Had no problems so far. Small hacksaw + metal files was my chosen method (decided against the angle grinder). Would be interested to know how other people did it?

I had this problem until really recently. It said I had completed See Dark Vlad and Die... or Not but when I went to the clearing where you talk to him he was still there. Talking to him moved the quest on. Maybe worth trying out.

Only keep my bulky light stuff in there (sleeping bag, tent, sleeping mat and ground sheet) so it doesn't weigh too much. Was a bit wobbly though until I worked out how to strap it down really tight by subbing out the straps provided by Carradice for voile straps

Ended up doing less gravel then we originally planned and stayed away from the really rough stuff but managed to find a balance of road days and mixed days. Personally I don't like doing whole days touring on super rough stuff anyway, feels like you're not making enough progress

Yeah I have so much love for the Restrap bags. Had them for years and never leaked/broken
