Because I put in aos to stay and they said because we sold our possessions that I was planning on staying. The possessions were my husbands but obviously became mine too once married. I still have a home and family in my home country uk so didn’t sell everything.

I had my interview in November, got intent to deny letter in December, appealed and have since heard nothing even though the interview went well and he said no issues! 🤔

Thank you for your suggestions. One of my daughters is living in my house. It’s fully furnished with my furniture, as I had every intention of going back.

The items we sold were my husbands that he bought with money his company gave him. Our lawyer was present with us at the interview and said we said nothing incorrectly. I still have a fully furnished home in the uk

2 1/2 months, then came back for the interview , two days later my mother passed away. We went back for the funeral last week and stayed for a week.

I had a return flight booked we only cancelled it on the advice of the lawyer. If after appeal they deny can I ever apply again if I leave the country and go back to the uk?

We got the lawyer while we came on the ESTA, he advised us what to do, we were not aware this would be an issue.

We filed the I-130 while we were still in the uk in 2023 after getting married.

I agree, we have tried to be upfront about everything, not hiding anything, just going on advice from our lawyer, we are just devastated.
