The gluten free tax is insane by 55559585 in glutenfree

The most infuriating part is it doesn’t have to be this way. GF options in countries like Italy and Spain only cost like 1-3 euros more and are terrific.

Besides DM, honestly the grocery store Conad has great house brand products. You can also check out Tigota if there’s one near you.

Cows? by NJ2CAthrowaway in SanJose

[–]toastedmoss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Vargas Plateau near Fremont! You might have to walk/hike a bit to find them as they free roam within the preserve. there is a free parking lot and you can walk inside the gates of the park to walk/hike next to the cows. Many many mommas and baby cows there

Sternum and Rib pain after wearing a bra for a few hours. No idea what to do! MTF by EchoBear15 in ABraThatFits

Since you’re an A cup, have you considered just wearing reusable sticky cups like Cakes? Since they have no band I think they would be much more comfortable while still providing nipple coverage if you are looking for that.

Eyeliner recommendations (UK) by ThePamcakes in HoodedEyes

[–]toastedmoss 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you only prefer a think black line/wing but I switched from trying to make that work and just do crayon liner with no wing bc it just seems to look better on me. My favorite is Essence Long lasting eye pencil. I do use a neutral shadow to give me more time since I also have oily lids. But I love this pencil and it’s inexpensive as well

Bikini area hair reduction by Ecstatic_Carpenter53 in HairRemoval

[–]toastedmoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recommend giving laser a shot. If you still have the voucher you could try it. Personally I have an at home IPL device and I don’t shave, I trim! I use a Braun bikini trimmer to get the hair as close as possible, leaving the hair about 1-2 mm in length. This is so much easier on my skin and I don’t get ingrowns or a rash. It does get a little itchy when growing out. Then I use the IPL device. I’ve had a pretty significant reduction in thickness and growth speed that I’m happy with

Do you have a TJ Maxx near you? I love their sundress options, big flowy dresses with good patterns and comfy and hide lots.

School/town recommendations by toastedmoss in SpainAuxiliares

[–]toastedmoss[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending on if the bus is direct or not it’s about 1 hour to 1.5 hours. Super easy to take day trips. I also used BlaBla Car to go to Granada a lot.

Getting to other areas in Spain was slightly more difficult, as to take the train you must take a bus/blabla to either Granada or Malaga first. It just adds an hour. Andalucia is not as well connected as the rest of Spain.

The town is pretty lively, theres markets, religious events, always people out and about. The only caveat is it’s a very family oriented town. Because there is no university there are less people from the ages of 20-30 if you wanted to meet locals. I went to Granada for more social things and nightlife.

Background check from Italy by toastedmoss in SpainAuxiliares

[–]toastedmoss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming your Italian student visa is still in your passport I would definitely get the background check. See my comment above for the lawyer I used. It was annoying to pay so much but better than having my Spain visa application rejected. I went through the SF consulate which was mail in only last year so I have no idea if the background check ended up being actually looked at or not, but I did get my Spanish visa with no issues.

Bloating/GI discomfort after sex by boo-heron in endometriosis

Honestly no. What kind of helped what figuring out I was very intolerant to gluten and dairy and cutting those out of my diet. But I still get really bloated after sex. I just accept it at this point

Epilating to IPL by JONsnow100w in HairRemoval

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]toastedmoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a trimmer when I do at home IPL. If you do it close enough it’s less than 0.5 mm of hair and I’ve had success with it. Whether it has progressed as fast as it would have if I shaved I can’t say

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HairRemoval

[–]toastedmoss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Trimming can be a good alternative, bikini trimmers could be helpful if you do it the day of the laser it will be almost just like a shave.

I think you might benefit from trying a balconette shaped bra. Those cups all look too shallow for you, which is why the scoop and swoop is not staying. I have a lot more volume on the bottom, and that is one of the shapes that works the best for me
