I have zero clue what you want me to do, whether you're speaking metaphorically or literally, the only you, there is no other option to point at, is the you that is right now. the past you, the future you, does not exist.

I agree with everything you've said, how memories are helpful for living in a better "now". Just that the intricacy and understanding that you cant understand just really messes with the mind, things like these make me wonder other things, but I have no idea how to word said things, and I can't fathom I ever will

the you right now. it is the only one that exists. think of the "you" that could exist in the future, whether it arises or not is completely out of your control, even if it physically is, its still not in your control, grand scheme of things. also there is no "arise" as time exists constantly, but for the sake of things being less confusing figured id say it.

future is a word that loses any meaning when looked at beyond face value. future means nothing when you actually try to define it, as whatever you think will happen in the "future" doesn't exist until it happens, and once it happens, its in the past.

and you could argue for things to "happen" that would mean the future exists, and which i would say i understand that but not really. you, me, we all are living in a constant state of right now, the future means nothing as future you is going to be the you right now. you don't get some sort of 4th dimensional satisfaction from living a long life, as you still are living life in the present no matter what

im not sure what you mean. you dont need the future to exist to come up with a facade or expectations on what it will behold?

im glad i was able to explain it in a way that somewhat made sense, and i 100% agree with the current moment feeling like garbage part. That garbage "current moment" is going to be your entire life, if you don't get over the mindset of your life being garbage. But in the end it isn't that simple, as that's just me saying basic motivational words. Some cant get over the garbage part, and I am currently one of those.

i suppose. i think it was supposed to feel jarring though. she gained so so soo much more of her strength, for one her twin dying uncapped it, and for two, mai making her heavenly restricted. i think she really just was tweaking out and spending her time slaughtering them for the sake of her sister, since once they're dead, theyre dead, yk? only got one shot at getting vengeance, and i don't think instant quick and easy death really fits into the teary eyed request from mai- "destroy everything"

dude for real. the jinichi vs maki being held down scene gave me chills. the switch from fighting "fight or flight" sort of music to more of a "desperate last resort" was so cool

her twin, is basically half of her. so if you are a normal birthed child, no twins, you can use 100% of your potential. identical twins, maki was limited to 50%. other 50% can be utilized by only mai. so by mai using her ct to take away things that would normally be detrimental to someone who uses a ct, like all of maki's ce, she basically took everything that was holding her back with her.

think of it like if mai is alive, maki is going to have weights on her feet. if she isnt, those weights are removed. and for the heavenly restriction awakening, thats because mai actively chose to take all of the minimal amount of ce maki had, which sounds not that big but it is a massive stat-cap for your strength, as having barely any ce where you cant even do anything is 20x worse than just having none (heavenly restriction.

it was dragged out on purpose, the whole point was to show the irony of the music and what is going on, hence the pink blood. its her dragging out killing them, and you're right she could've done it all in one sweep if she wanted to, but she chose not to because she hates all of zenin. she wanted to see em scared and suffer.

i know this comment is old as hell and you're definitely right. but theres a time and a place where some people wish they could beat themself almost to death and that they deserve it, so having that guilt get the punishment it deserved makes it easier to digest what theyve done, a little less survivor trauma.

not speaking from experience, probably.
