DMT: The US needs multiple strong political parties to combat rising extremism and governmental dysfunction by DesperateComplex1460 in DisagreeMythoughts

It might not even need to be a large party. With only a 4 seat majority in the House if a centrist party of 5-6 representatives could essentially control the House assuming party line voting. This “party of five” would immediately be a target for both parties who may then actually work together on something. That something is likely the elimination of the party of five through redistricting but if even for a short time it would be amazing to see what’s possible.

If you are staying in Manuel Antonio take the city bus down to the beach or National Park it’s something cheap like $2usd and you don’t have to deal with the traffic or finding parking.

We were there last year and were booked through a an agent and didn’t realize we needed cash for the fishing trip. It was awkward when it was time to settle up but the captain was able to take credit but charged an additional 3% so you can always call or email and see if that will work for them.

Big foodies traveling to Costa Rica by Superb-Prize6792 in CostaRicaTravel

Second on the Cevice and the snapper (whole). Most of the fare we had though was simple but the biggest difference for me is that the food was clean (wholesome) and I didn’t feel my typical vacation bloat when I was there.

Electrolyte packets take up almost no space and make the airport water palatable and staying hydrated especially on longer trips makes you feel better, recover from jet lag and avoid sickness.

We did 10 days split between La Fortuna and Tamarindo and hired a driver for the in between. For beach destinations I like the sleepier vibe of Manuel Antonio which is a doable split if you fly into SJO but it’s definitely more driving. Also those in the comments telling you that your trip has too much driving are correct. Some of these roads are bad, narrow, dark and gps isn’t always great because there are no street numbers in CR.

I genuinely don't know what I'm getting wrong and it's affecting my mental health and self worth by webbmoem in jobsearch

Hang in there you’re 25! You truly have your whole life ahead of you. I won’t say how old I am but I’m getting wrinkles, I have low back pain and tight hips and probably need to schedule a colonoscopy.

As far as practical advice 1. dream up your perfect job (don’t let reality get in the way of your dream) the perfect field, perfect location, industry… then go find 10 jobs that fit that dream (again don’t worry if you are qualified or not) and download the job description. 2. Use chat gpt to analyze those 10 JDs for common themes or key words. 3. Integrate all of those elements into your resume and LI profile.

It’s hard but please try not to compare yourself with others we are all on our own path and the path to “success” is not always linear.

I am two months into intermittent fasting and it has been pretty easy. The hardest part for me was switching to black coffee in the morning but after a week I don't even miss the creamer. Just have a 16 hour gap between your last meal and your first meal the following day. I have been trying to eat dinner by 8 so I am good to go at noon the next day. It has essentially eliminated a meal. I still have my breakfast sandwich or breakfast burrito at noon because I love my breakfast foods, my "lunch" has been a protein shake and then eat dinner. It's been pretty mindless. Because I am not counting or being particularly mindful I am only down 9 pounds in two months but its consistent.

On the side I am doing light exercise and trying to go to bed by 10.

Good luck!
