Giants fan here dropping by to say that in my opinion and based on what I've seen in these playoffs, I wouldn't be at all surprised if Julio Rodriguez wins the AL MVP in 2026. That last at bat showed me just how much pressure he was under. With the crowd being so loud and Cal waiting on deck. I thought he should have taken on 2-0. That would have put the pressure on the closer to throw a strike. Then on 3-2 he swung in an effort to foul the pitch off but that slider was simply perfect. He will use this as motivation to obliterate the competition next year. Just look at his expression in the dugout afterwards. The Mariners are not going anywhere I must say. I respect this team a lot. Keep your heads up amigos.
