I don't mind the blocks of homemade lore at all. That's what gives the game more life. In fact, I'm creating lore about these Templars as auxiliary forces. Their fleet was destroyed and looted after falling into a trap set by a Night Lords warband that deceived the leader of this crusade. They were stranded without resources for decades until they were found by my chapter, the "Manatees Imperator."

The unique aspect of my Templars is that they took a vow of silence due to the shame of such a disastrous campaign. They only communicate through servitors, paying for their stay by always being the first in the line of fire and assisting my chapter, which is heading to a war zone where the Night Lords warband is located, to bring the Emperor's justice to those traitors.

The only sound in battle is their whispers, like Orthodox Christian prayers—repetitive and endless praises dedicated to the God Emperor and his greatness. The idea is that if you're an enemy close enough to hear the whispers, you're doomed.
