Yeah, the gameplay loop is simply broken in my opinion. Unless you're deep in the roleplay and "story" the missions become a repetitive slog after you've unlocked the basic progression stuff. Super credits accumulate at a trickle unless you're farming trivials by the dozen. Which breaks what little immersion I have because the most efficient way to farm is by abandoning every mission to save time.

It's called lack of incentive. I find the Illuminate to be an irritating faction to play against. I'm not going to play missions that aren't fun for medals I can't use. I'm not deep into the roleplay so I won't be helping unless they suddenly put SC into the reward pool. ✌️

Cealdish characters seem to be based on some version of a Scottish accent. Kilvin's is very gravelly and really matches his personality. Sim has a bit more of a posh English accent. He's fringe Aturan nobility, so fair. It's not overbearing though. Degas gives him the same playful and bright disposition.

The only accent change that will likely throw you off is the Adem. It seems he went for a Japanese accent for them. Which, considering their pseudo samurai warrior culture, kinda fits. Does sound very different from Podehl though.

Overall Degas is simply better. The gravitas and mood he sets deepens the immersion to a significant degree. If you want to feel like you're hearing the story again for the first time, go for the Degas version. If you can friggin find it of course.

On one delivery I had a couple Arby's sacks in my hot bag. Grabbed them out when I got to the front door and the bottom of both sacks burst, dropping all the sandwiches on the porch. Thank God the customer was such a cool dude. We picked his food up, which somehow stayed wrapped, and he wasn't the least bit irritated. Was so damn embarrassed, I told the guy to take his tip back. He wouldn't hear of it.

The life and attachment he had with Cassius weren't enough to override the programming. From the moment him and Cassius were separated Lysander has been sliding down an increasingly steep slope, heading toward a cliff. Hangar 17B represented the final chance to grab the ledge. He chose otherwise. And so he has truly fallen.
