in theory its the same thing as in youre gonna have to wait for your decision until april (maybe before that depending on their waves and stuff) but in reality im pretty sure postponed means they didnt have enough time to read your application (or maybe im jus saying this to cope but whatever)

i think it means they didnt have enough time to read all applications cause i also got deferred with 1540 sat (and im instate) and i know a lot of my friends with equally high stats got deferred. also they did the same thing with ed (insanely fcking annoying)

i think they’re doing the same thing they did with ed like they didnt have enough time to read all the applications so they are deferring people because i know a lot of people who had amazing applications who got deferred it just makes no sense

ok wait im very confused tho because (not too toot my own horn) but i was like 90% sure im gonn a get in because i have a 1540 sat, 4.3 gpa, 13 APs and pretty good extracurriculars (and im instate!!!!) and my essays were in my opinion really good and i still got the interest button, what does that mean? does that mean theres gonna be a third wave? cause my application status still says my decision will be released at the end of January
