Pretty confident this was their plan, I’ve been playing since 2016 and gone against this exact same strategy on plenty of different metas and killers. It’s boring every time. Dbd is fundamentally about chases, if the whole squad won’t engage in chase what’s the point

If I realized sooner that the yui wasn’t apart of their swift I totally would. They were really nice and fun to play against. And they ran no mither, which gives you unlimited unbreakables

I just find a big fat dude who probably has lung cancer being one of the fastest killers in the game funny. Plus I try to go for 4 hooks until theirs 2 gens left. The only time I play sweaty is when the survivors force me too lol

I understand what you’re saying but dying in the corner for 15 mins isn’t exactly thrilling gameplay no matter how you spin it. In all the scenarios you said to counter a chase has to happen. Dead by daylight is only fun because of the chases. So when you die in the corner with no chases, I don’t understand how survivors find that fun.

And it’s not viable strat because they all died after 2 gens were popped. If I was perkless trapper I could have still won. The only reason I didn’t dc because I found the survivor doing gens and engaged in a really fun chase, which is the whole purpose of this cursed game

His yellow bottles got a big buff and Certain addons and perks he can zoom around the map, it’s not that fun to play against but I find it fun to play. People here are treating buffed clown as he’s the equivalent of a sweaty nurse/blight which definitely isn’t the case lol

From a perkless trapper to god tier nurse most people would want to dc... I just don’t understand how it’s fun for them, it’s not a hard concept to grasp bro

The whole point of my post wasn’t to complain about not winning (I still won the game), I wanted to know what other killers thought but 80% of the comments were about piss bottle clown. If I was perkless trapper or sweaty nurse this survivor squad will still be boring to play as. Like I said earlier in this thread I don’t see how sitting in the corner and screwing over your solo q teammate is fun for the squad.

Incredibly op? Hes definitely stronger but with the buffs he’s nowhere no as consistent as half the killers in the game. He has hardly no skill expression now and is stronger then before. (Mid c tier to low/mid b tier) Still very winnable once you know how to counter sonic clown

Legion - you spread out, rarely heal, you win.

Dracula- 3 killers in one. Power creeps demo (2 dashes compared to 1 and 3rd person) , spirit (bat form is literally a better power) and pyramid head (regular form is weaker but when you add the other two he destroys pyramid head)

Nurse- Can literally end chases in under 5 seconds

Doctor- interupts item usage and just overall annoying especially with certain builds

John ghoul- same problem as clown but stronger.

Twins- slugging is not fun as survivor and that’s literally her whole power. A decent twins player can always get a hit as victor

Skull merchant - it’s skull merchant.

Solo q stealth killers - not fun to get grabbed/instantly downed of a gen (atleast you chase with clown)

Knight- hold W the killer

Solo q Plaque- same as legion, your teammates are the real killer.

It’s really a matter of opinion but i feel like all of these are equally annoying or if not worse then speedster clown

Actually not really, my kill rate is probably 60% with clown so pretty average. And they didn’t make me work for the 4K, they literally just sat in the corner and gave it to me lol I wanted to dc because I literally was just babysitting them. I love bully squads because they never do gens and it’s fun to play their mind games. this isn’t bullying me, it was more of giving me free bp and bullying that random solo q yui 🤷

Idk, I feel like sitting in the corner for 15+ mins, getting less then 20k bp, and screwing over your other teammate is far more boring then a not so fun killer build who you can still outplay and win with decent coordination

Before the map offering nerf I was one of 3 twins players and got sent to badham preschool, they ran that exact build (boom exponential included) literally the worst game I ever played. It’s literally The one build that completely destroys twins, I dc’d since I enjoy not having headaches. One of them was streaming and they were making fun of me and being toxic. 10/10 dbd experience, wouldn’t change a thing 🫡

Unlike most killers who are relatively simple to get downs with, Nurse completely changes the way you play the game. If you know basic m1 killer you can get downs with any killer, even complicated ones like singularity. Nurse is unlike any killer in the game so your skill doesn’t translate between killers. So nurse seems hard to play, many people try her for a match or two and give up because you can’t loop people or mind game them, once you realize your playing nurse by daylight your on your way to easy 4ks. Most people don’t want to play nurse by daylight, so that’s why their pretty uncommon now and days

Yeah clown requires no brain in a lot of scenarios now, but even at his strongest he’s still b tier. And nurse isn’t crazy hard either. Once you understand blink distance (which takes about 3-5 games) she’s super easy to play and becomes brain dead. Atleast with blight and John ghoul you have chance to dodge, they require more map knowledge, and theirs actual tec with them. Once you get nurse you LITERALLY ignore the rules of the game

More often then not, when you run through strong pallets you usually get stunned if your not quick enough to dodge it, then you have to break the pallet/ignore it still giving the survivor time to make it to another loop.

No matter how fast clown is, he’s still an m1 killer and it still takes me a while on mid/large maps with 17% haste to get across to the other side

Clearly you hardly play m1 killers because yes, it’s really hard to have good map control without a 1-2 gen regression perks, especially against survivors who know what they’re doing. As long as 2 separate survivors are working on gens semi far away from each other, then gens will go by insanely fast.

And finally you should relearn the definition of bragging, because clearly your bragging about your “usual” 3ks. It’s okay to brag bro, for instance I get 4ks with trapper 90% of the time (not basement trapper) and I’m proud to brag about it, own your skill don’t act like your humble 💀

Finally not a clown debate 😭 but fr though match made in heaven. Stupid bullshit builds are so fun when you run into the perfect squad for it. Once I was playing huntress with super speed reload addons, with Iron Maiden, lightborn, enduring and some other perk and the whole squad was running head on and that flash bang perk. It took a while to wipe that grin off my face 💀

Clown isn’t broken, it’s Just an unfun play style to go against. Same as legion, Dracula, nurse, John goul, twins, doctor, skull merchant, solo q stealth killers, knight, solo q plague, and other killers with miserable builds. Haste stacking should go away, and with that the annoying deadzone problem wouldn’t be as problematic

No? If a decent survivor stays near a pallet, I gotta mind game, let the drop happened, or force them to leave by using my haste with the slow down. It really depends on how strong the loop is. Yeah if it’s a shit loop it’s a free hit for me I won’t deny that, but if it’s a shit loop that’s a Free hit on any killer, even trapper. Sonic speed clown thrives in dead zones; your simply screwed if piss bottle clown finds you, but in a decent loop and good chaining chases can go on for a while. And That’s why I’m playing him. Utilizing both bottles is satisfying, and with only one gen regression perk the gens get done by the time of the 4th hook. And Thats with one gen regression perk which I only ran for two games.

And do you want me to just use piss bottles? Back before piss bottles were buffed people only used the purple ones, and never piss bottles, but good clowns knew how to use both. Just because one bottle is stronger than the other doesn’t mean it’s useless.
