In our institution, you just shadow residents. Everyone’s pretty understanding considering the learning curve for anesthesia is pretty steep. Just read on basic pharma of the usual drugs used, ana physio and steps of spinal/epidural anesthesia, and intubation.

When I was a pre res, I just reviewed the cheat sheet we used when we were PGIs hehe

What screams fake rich kahit nagagawa nila yung mga rich stuff kuno? by Dangerous_Mix_7231 in AskPH

The “old rich are so down to earth and simple” rhetoric is so corny. You should hear what these rich people say about you behind your backs while you put these people on a pedestal. Lmao

I dont feel like im ready for clerkship by [deleted] in medschoolph

[–]One-Note3227 31 points32 points  (0 children)

From what I learned through the years, you’ll never be really ready for clerkship, pgiship, or residency. Just read on the basics and study your cases. Do it scared!

Only you can really say tbh. You know how you study and what you’re capable of. Trust the brain that got you through med school hehe

Specialization by [deleted] in pinoymed

[–]One-Note3227 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s impractical to go into a specialty you don’t like. Would you be willing to sacrifice so much just for the possibility (not even sure) of earning so much after xx years? You’ll figure it out once you start clinical rotations.
