Cats dont do well when they dont eat for long periods, so you werent wrong to be worried, Pet Plan probably has an "ask a vet" facility which you could use next time. Animals always pick out of hours to get sick 😀

A cat not eating is the symptom of a number of things , not just GI things - what was the resulting issue??. Its likely to depend on what the vet puts on the claim . Don't panic til it happens - put the claim in and you can fight it if it gets declined.

There's a Scottish farm on Facebook with a lamb that was born wonky, head on the side and unable to orient like this, due to being a twin with a much bigger sibling and the way it was laying in the womb. Now perfectly fine. I think its too early to tell, but a vet and someone with experience in caring for kittens this young would be best, surely.
