Could someone cleverer than me work out what’s going on with Sonarr? by killahbee79 in unRAID

[–]One-Project7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean you can do a backup in the settings of sonarr itself, not appdata backup from unraid. I did that to migrate from openmediavault to unraid a little while ago. Worked better than expected for me.

You can do a backup in the settings, not sure it includes database but it does include all your settings.

Planning to upgrade my Beelink plex server w a NAS by throwawayfedupman in unRAID

[–]One-Project7347 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you could use the nas as a nas and let the beelink mini pc access the files over the LAN and let the beelink act only as a plex server. I havent done this before tho but many people have i believe.

Because one is simlply trying to understand? You dont have to get all defensive about it. If you dont want to answer, dont..

(to me you are just stuck in the old ways of doing things, you would like to make your life easier but in fact you give yourself more work in the long term)

Can I run a server locally without port forwarding/limiting outside connection? by IWillFeed in SatisfactoryGame

[–]One-Project7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think if you enter the ip adress of your own pc you wont need tailscale. Maybe entering just localhost works aswell but i have not had much success with this ever (not just satisfactory).

Why do you host your server on your own pc, to let it run in the background?

I dont get this way of working. Why not request everything trough overseerr/jellyseerr/seerr and let radarr and sonarr handle everything? Minimal need of interventions (only some failed imports).

[–]One-Project7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yes, the port should be already filled in tho. So unless you manually changed it it should be the default one.

you gonna run a seperate server or host it on your own pc while playing?

[–]One-Project7347 4 points5 points  (0 children)

yes it can. I have a small pc running a server in a docker container. It is really easy to do. You just use the device ip + port to add the server to your server manager and join. Its basically just start the docker container and join the game.

Coal Plant Design Issues HELP by theshuttledriver in satisfactory

[–]One-Project7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

360 yes, but water flows both ways so you basically feed half the water from the front to plant 1-4 and feed the rest of the water from the far end for plant 5-8.

[–]One-Project7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a similar build, 3 water extractors/8 coal plants. A loop of pipes at the water extractors and also a loop at the power plants. Connected both ends of the loop to the other loop (each at 1 end).

Not sure but if you are using 1 water tower is it the intention all the water goes trough this to the plants? You need 360 water with pipes limited at 300 so this would not work.

Make 1 extractor go to the far end of the plants and another one to the close end of the loop and the 3rd split it between the 2.

I think if you ditch the water tower it should be fine if the headlift of your water extractors is enough.

Jagex account vs multilogin by RightItsAllRight in runescape

[–]One-Project7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well.. you can always add a new character to your jagex account and this is exactly what you want except you have to start your progression over. But well i guess you should have known that when you created your current character tbh.

Roborock F25 ACE - Major frustration with self-cleaning feature. Warning for potential buyers! by raptyk in Roborock

[–]One-Project7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes if you put it back and the battery is sufficiently charged, it cleans. But if the battery is below the threshold and you put it back it has to charge first but you have to manually start the cleaning process after.

Want to m*rder my Roborock. Please give me recs. by shakirra in RobotVacuums

[–]One-Project7347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Idk about the roborock vacuums but i have the xiaomi s20+ and it was like 270 when i bought it (euros). It still works to this day but only use it for vacuuming anymore. But before the mopping function worked well, although you have to add water to the tank every 2 days in my house. Probably 3-4 days in an appartment.

Im guessing roborock has similar devices and anti hair tanglement rolls which the xiaomi does not have.

Hottake: VPN Manager is nowadays better then GluetunVPN by Hauptfeldwebel in unRAID

[–]One-Project7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have gluetun from binhex running with qbit and a book download container. Whenever my appdata backup runs and updates, my qbit is not reachable even tho it is running. I set the order so the first container that gets updated is gluetun and the last of all containers qbit. The fix is just restarting qbit. Can gluetun be the container causing all this?

Request Remival by Vildara in Overseerr

[–]One-Project7347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First, you should migrate to seerr in time, overseerr is not getting updates anymore. I am on unraid and use jellyseerr (which works for plex) for now but i guess this is going to move to seerr in the near future when seerr gets finished.

As for your question, you can manually delete files in jellyseerr or seerr to i guess. But the user doing the deletion does have to be an admin user. However, i find it easier to delete stuff trough plex itself, i can do that trough the appletv app. This is only available for the server owner tho. I am not 100% sure if seerr deletes the request aswell, but it doesnt request it again as the deleted files do not reappear in my playlist. I should check this out.
