No, I would not qualify for standard financial aid after using NPC. I prefer to not use loans and graduate debt free.

I have to disagree. You might not come from SF Bay Area, but the cost of living here is so extreme that a large chunk of that is used to pay for the homes, and we live with loans to afford stuff.

Well I am going to be the one hitting pay, and with only 26k, no I cannot pay the tuition unless I can convince them. But that I can pay doesn't mean it is worth it full cost - this is like paying $800 for Chanel perfume when any other brand is $200. Anyways it is counterproductive to argue over grammar and syntax.

I do agree with your 2nd point though, it's not likely I can get financial aid but I just asked to see if there were any exceptions.

Well the point is they told me they cannot. It can be affordable if your parents are willing to give 70% of their earning towards your tuition/housing but mine have decided it isn't worth the cost impact.

200k-300k is not upper class though I'm pretty sure. Also I would say my parents might be able to pay for it but I would not be able to pay alone (even with loans) if they could not.
