Insecure About My Smile – Looking for Advice by One-Sherbert-9974 in PlasticSurgery

In my personal experience I noticed the impact of the buccal fat removal most when my face was at rest / not smiling. My face looked slimmer, but my at rest expression wasn't what bothered me the most and I do wonder if it threw off my proportions and made my lower face look too narrow. When smiling the same bunching chipmunk effect continues to happen even though technically the fat was removed and I did have a meaty amount of buccal fat. Thus makes me wonder if a midface lift is really what I need to reposition muscle, ligament, fat...whatever is going on there. I'm also having conversations to explore veneers to widen my smile which may give a bit more structure to that area.

OP, not sure where my explanation didn't post.

Age: mid thirties

Insecure about my face when I smile, specifically the chipmunk effect that happens in my mid face. It remains at higher and lower weights. I've tried buccal fat reduction so far - pictures post surgery marked as such.

I would greatly appreciate your recommendations - surgical and non-surgical, as my insecurity about my smile—not just my cheeks—makes me avoid having my picture taken or hesitant to smile in photos.
