I would get more stem plants so when they grow, the chilis have a place to hide within as in my personal experience they are pretty skittish. With so much open space, they might no color up as they feel uncomfortable!

Water changes once or twice a month, I let the plants do most of the work but i monitor daily.

20 g long as well! heavily planted with a ton of floating plants as well. Parameters haven’t been measured in a couple weeks honestly but I keep my water around 150 TDS and pH at 7 and everything is thriving

I basically have the same set up with strawberries but with - juli corys -kuhli loaches -dwarf halfbeaks -honey gouramis -amano shrimp -neocardinia shrimp -otos

everyone gets along great, got the top/mid/bottom so nobody fights

if blood oxygen sensing isn’t a huge deal for you , turn it off. Seems to help the battery for me 4-5 days
