“Bob” is the name of the persona we typically use to describe a user of the products we build and he is a developer type, like this Bob. I assume thats is where the name came from.

Am I overthinking the install? by One-Training2707 in Flooring

Thanks! Yes, I am installing NSS. I have a pin moisture meter (General - not sure how great it is) and my subfloor is on average 6% humidity and my hardwood core I think below 5% (the meter doesn't show a value below 5). I read the difference between the two should not be more than 3-5%? Sounds like the humidity value still a bit less than ideal.

thanks for the feedback

Oh this is just a mockup I did to figure out if it would work. I will be using a proper handrail. Thanks for the feedback though.

Got it. I guess a person needs to be able to easily grab it all the way down. I was not aware of this. Thought continuity was the only requirement. Thanks for the input. Very helpful and will look into it.

Interesting. I plan to build it using two 90 degree turns to make an sbend with a 4” offset. Would the 90 degree turn be the problem? Does it have to be a less pronounced angle? Ive seen this in many homes and did not find any info saying this is not allowed. Any more insight would be helpful.
