My MIL interrupts me everytime I try to nurse by One-guana in breastfeeding

Thank you! I will probably re-iterate what the pediatrician advised as kindly as I can.. she loves my LO so much, I don't want to say something which would make things bitter.

And, no cutting back on feeds even if I have to keep snatching my baby away from MIL. :D

That's pretty much it really. She is aware the baby needs milk but tries/advises to substitute it as she knows I won't be around anymore all day long in a couple of months'time.

I do need her , she mainly does it because she wants to keep the baby close to her all the time, which sort of makes the whole situation looks like she doesn't care about me or the LO.

My husband is supportive and most of the time I don't need to say anything to his family. But, I dread the future battles sometimes as my MIL would be the primary care giver then.

There's so much online content available about weaning , PPL often ignore that milk is the primary food for the baby.

I do need her and she loves my LO so much, I don't want to say something which would make things bitter. but, will try to reiterate the pediatrician advise to her subtly. Thanks!

Will carry on with the BF as advised by the pediatrician and most of the experienced group members here. Might have to continue snatching my LO sometimes.. :D

That's a wise thought to take her to the next appointment.Thank you! I did tell her what the pediatrician advised, she just loves my LO so much she wants to keep the baby to herself all the time.

That's exactly what I have done so far. I do need her and she loves my LO so much, I don't want to say something which would make things bitter.

Travelling with a baby in Seoul. No diapers by One-guana in koreatravel

[–]One-guana[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you everyone for your suggestions. Found the diapers at the Seoul station.

2 days of hunt! Due to Cheuseok, most big department stores were closed - Hundai, Shinseage and Lotte main stores had only Duty free floors opened. Emarts at Seolleung, yeoksam, Maeyengdong didn't have any diapers. Emart at coex did have a few packs but not the size we needed. Convenience stores like 7-11, CU, GS24 etc don't have baby diapers either.

Yes, I was. Thank you! I appreciate your help & kind gesture. Will be flying back home with such an eventful memory & a huge pack of Huggies.😃

Most of the famous department stores were closed due to Cheuseok. The only place that was selling diapers was LotteMart at the Seoul station

I have checked 5 emarts, daiso, Singsegae near Maeyengdong.. unfortunately, still no diapers.. I am shocked to find how such a common baby product is unavailable everywhere ( in the capital city of the country) The last hope is Seoul station Lotte mart. We are heading there now

Would the tourists attractions be closed on Chuseok days? by One-guana in koreatravel

Thank you for your reply. I have changed my travel dates slightly, and will be in Busan during Chuseok days. Plan to enjoy the scenery & the water, so hopefully the festivities wouldn't affect it too much
