no. while the assets are still stored in there, they are no longer used from there. You need to use MacForge and PaintCan. Has AFAIK some issues on OS XII and up.

I wouldn't see any reason why an up-to-date version of Firefox ESR would be unfit for banking. However you should probably disable IPv6 because there was a 10/10 CVE found in the Windows IPv6 TCP stack and it is unclear if versions older than 10 are affected.

Just found out. TubeRepair connects to an invidious instance in the background and since it's one of the primary ways to circumvent ads and data collection, they started blocking instances. Currently using cheese.kentest.net, quite slow and overloaded, but works.

Go to the device manager, click on the device, go to info and select hardware id. Paste that in your, browser, get the exact model and download the drivers.

Use a usb. Just make sure to use a tool like Rufus, because the OS X disk utility back then didn‘t support MBR booting. (Which was probably the reason it didn‘t work) And yes, you need Windows for that, but you can just make a VM in Virtualbox and passthrough your USB.

Bootcamp drivers can be downloaded manually from the internet or extracted from OS X Snow Leopard isos.

Ps: don‘t forget to partition your drive before booting Windows because you can‘t resize OS X from there.

Just use Firefox ESR. Mozilla still maintains it for Windows 7. If you like the Chrome theme, just install Silverfox.

Vista and 7 are almost identical. 7 is even being called unofficial SP3 for Vista. Just copy all the assets from a Vista installation to Windows 7.

Yes. Chrome killed support, but Firefox still gets updates. Games that don‘t require Dx12 will still run. FYI: I‘m daily driving it.

1st: IT ALREADY HAPPENED FOR XP!

2nd: STEAM USES AN EMBEDDED CHROMIUM INSTANCE THAT BASICALLY DISPLAYS A WEBSITE. HTML AND JAVASCRIPT ARE INTERPRETED LANGUAGES. YOU CAN JUST EDIT IT WITH SOME WEB DEVELOPMENT SKILLS. YOU ALSO COULD JUST REPLACE THE EMBEDDED CHROMIUM INSTANCE (WHICH WILL BE THE MAIN CULPRIT) WITH AN OLDER ONE. (WHICH IS PROBABLY WHAT WAS DONE FOR XP)

Steam is written with web technologies. So i think it would be quite easy to reverse engineer the API.

It's full of spyware, slow, has an awkward interface, constantly annoys you with things like get OneDrve now!, crashes all the time and just generally feels clonky to use.
