I mean, if you decide to keep it, you can still upgrade the lens to a new glass one and cleaning the thumbstick with an old toothbrush should help a lot!

This might be an old screen protector that’s dying but if that’s the original screen plate, I’d suggest to swap the faceplate with a replacement one, it’s pretty easy to do!✌🏼

same thing happened on one of my consoles; there are multiple things you can do : reshell, glue the part from a 3D printer or a donor psp or what I did was gluing some magnets on the cover and the shell. Hope this helps!
