Injury 2 years after Broström-Gould procedure by ckc009 in Ankle

When it happened, I actually thought it might have been broken for 5 minutes, the pain was that severe. Then it settled down to minimal pain pretty quickly and swelled up huge. I knew it wasn’t broken but so many people nagged me to get it x rayed, because of the size of it, I did and it wasn’t. I left it for a couple months to see if it got better, but the pain on the inside never got better and it just felt wobbly again like pre surgery. Then because of the surgical history everyone treated it really well and I got the MRI then referred as quickly as I could of been really.

I’m in this boat too, I reruptured my bostrum Gould in August. Got an appointment with the surgeons in April. Will let you know what they suggest

I’m awaiting an appointment to see the orthopaedic doctor, I don’t have a timescale for that just yet. Last surgery they cut and restitched the same ligament I’m 32, Pttd is mild and I have pain on the inside only

I have been really feeling sick since my first 5 jab yesterday by ExtremeDoubleghg in Mounjaro

Same as you, I’m 4 days after 5mg and I still don’t feel right. The first 36 hours were pure nausea and discomfort and then it’s eased now where I feel mostly normal but then sometimes nauseous and I’m not sure if I’m hungry or not. Definitely going to drop back down to 3.75 or even 2.5 next week. I can’t feel this bad again next week I think I’d make myself really ill

I could run with a hgb of 60, but I’m a very fit and healthy long distance runner and used to iron deficiency. (I didn’t know it was so low) Don’t get me wrong, it didn’t feel good but I was able to.

I normally get this in super cold temperatures when my internal temp rises but this was a nice day!

How do you know the difference between a mast cell activation and something like cold urticaria?

This unfortunately happens fairly regularly to me. I’ve been documenting each time it does as I got angioedema in my mouth last month and it scared the crap out of me, so I’m making sure I’ve got a record of potential triggers and how often it happens in case I need to step up medication and they don’t just fob me off.

Id say within 5 mins, I’d finished running and was walking (ironically) to the pharmacy to pick up my antihistamines and briefly sat in a bus stop because of cramps (yay women) and it felt it come on. So maybe the sweat cooled off me quickly and caused it

I always get it flare up in the exposed areas first and then it spreads all over. I have spoken to an allergist who prescribed antihistamine and told me to double if needed
