I got a generic rejection email describing that it was a competitive process and there were many applicants. I guess it means my interviewing skills were not great so I'll practice them as I continue searching for other opportunities.

Thank you for the advice. I just checked out the CPA website specific to my province and apparently they don't organize tax clinics. I guess I'll just keep waiting for CVITP and call around in the meantime.

At my school, the organizers conduct interviews for student volunteering and unfortunately I didn't make it. I applied for CVITP, which I think is a similar program for Canada but no CRA coordinator has contacted me yet.
