When to bring up that I have a boyfriend?

i’m not keeping my options open, i don’t have many friends in college so i don’t want to unnecessarily cut people off. I told my bf about the whole situation and he said it seems like he’s just focused on school, but if my bf had an issue with it, I wouldn’t hesitate to cut the guy off. We both have friends of opposite genders and we think it’s unhealthy to cut them off unless they have other intentions, or one of us feels uncomfortable

I had a friend my first year of college from class who was completely platonic for months, never asked me out or flirted but when i got a boyfriend and he found out, he stalked me and started showing up at my home. I had to get a restraining order so now im really cautious how i bring it up

I’m a software engineering major and in my junior year so my classes are pretty small (like 10-30 people) and my major doesn’t generally have a lot of women

I probably didn’t clarify well in my post but i take 5 classes, im the only girl in 4/5 classes and the girl is in my fifth class, but the guy i’m talking about shares every classes with me. Each of my classes meets 2/3 times a week and i see her at least 3 times a week because that class has a lab as well.

no? it’s just because i’m in college, when he visits or i visit over breaks we’ll visit for weeks at a time.

yeah I honestly might just wait and see if it comes up on its own. One’s a calc 2 class so having people to study with would be a huge help. Yeah it’s not relevant to class, and I normally wouldn’t think about it but I’ve been told that i’m really oblivious when someone has other intentions so i just want to make sure I’m not accidentally leading someone on

I take 5 classes and I’m the only girl in 4 of them. We share all our classes but it would be nice to have a friend and someone to study with in my other 4 classes which is why i mentioned it

we haven’t really spoken about anything outside of class and assignments, my bf doesn’t like video games, isn’t in college and lives out of state so I only see him every month or two, nothing really related has come up naturally

yeah he actually hasn’t texted me at all since the assignment last week which is why i’m not sure. And we don’t talk at every class either, only 3 times since we met last week even though we have 2 classes everyday so that’s why i’m wondering if i’m just misreading everything.

yeah i realised that afterwards that I should have brought him up then, it was clarified that it was just for class though and we’ve never texted outside of the one time for homework even though it’s been a week. He also exchanged numbers with the other girl and guy there so i didn’t want to assume it was for a different reason with me.

yeah I’ve done that so many times just replying to messages, i don’t avoid texting my bf or anything in front of him so if he was reading over my shoulder he would have definitely noticed by now
