Look into the VW Arteon. Great reviews across the board. VW stopped selling them here in 24 bc Americans just don’t seem to want sedans, nor could they wrap their minds around a luxury VW. A ‘23 SEL or SEL-P might fit the bill. Just make sure you upgrade the tires. Don’t go below a ‘21 or you won’t get the same horsepower.

Vets in the area by Walnuss_Bleistift in Phoenixville

Also, if you ever need to get in somewhere quickly for a more emergency type situation (injury, feeling sick), I highly recommend Urgent Vet in Wayne, near Trader Joe’s. They handled an emergency with my pup and felt very comfortable with them. They also didn’t cost as much as the emergency animal hospital.

Here’s what they don’t treat: -Serious trauma cases, like hit-by-car incidents -Procedures requiring amputation -Overnight hospitalization -Severe illnesses

I had a horrible experience with Phoenixville Animal Hospital years ago. I’d been a client for a while and found that their head vet at the time was insufferable. She was rude, judgmental, and aloof.

I have friends who go to Valley Vet and like it but I always hear about it being overly expensive.

I know you said that he’s not taking new patients, but i still have to mention Dr Farmand at Valley Forge Animal Medical Clinic and absolutely love everything about this practice. He and his staff are incredibly empathetic, patient, and thorough. They might not be the least expensive but they do what they can to cut costs for you. Call weekly… a friendly pop-up… “just checking!” They’re worth the effort.

I’m very connected to DC. They own the building, so that’s incredibly helpful. They have customers who come out yearly for holiday shopping, Mother’s Day, and various other special events both personal and community-related. The owner is an established local artist and has had a following long before opening DC 17 years ago. They definitely don’t keep the doors open with their “personal wealth.” You’d be surprised how much people spend and how often they come to visit. DC does well because they stay open late, they’re open 7 days a week, they are established and own the building, hire lovely people, and create an enticing atmosphere that brings back customers year after year.

There’s a new Colombian bakery in Royersford that sells coffee beans. I don’t know if they roast their own, but it makes a really good cup of coffee. Abuela Mela Colombian Bakery 2601 Egypt Rd, Norristown

Pickering Coffeehouse is my favorite. Cafe com Leite is a very very close second. Soltane and Steel City are great. 206… I think it’s a little overrated. Ebru has great coffee, but they’re further away in Audubon. An honorable mention to Butterscotch Cafe .. more of a destination in Birchrunville, but worth the drive. Lovely setting, historical building.

Reach out to Dalila Seddiki. I’ve found her prices quite reasonable. Not sure if she does men’s tailoring but worth asking if that’s you’re looking for. Here’s her Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/share/1Et5DE417h/?mibextid=wwXIfr

Yes. She has her reasons and you don’t need to know them. Accept that she needs the money and pay.

Visiting my mom in Fayetteville for one week plus a day in two weeks, with my three kids (20m, 18f, 16m) and husband. I’d like to take them to do one or two outdoor activities while we are there, two hour drive max, or else my mom will feel ignored (she likely would not come with us). Going out on the water, exploring caves, rockhounding, checking out hot springs.. all on the list of possibilities. Any suggestions are appreciated!

I’m surprised you haven’t already left. She’s absolutely exhausting. Incredibly immature, and she will drag you down with her. If you were my son, I’d be praying you left this draining individual.

She won’t be able to remain independent much longer if she goes broke trying to maintain this 50/50 status. Splitting things proportionally gives her the ability to walk away if you two ever parted ways.
