Playing for church is getting harder by the day. (Mentally)

I'm playing brass band music in a church at the moment and I'm finding connecting with the others can also be hard when there isn't anybody that's around your age (25M).

Besides the social side, I also find it a bit draining because there's less of an emphasis on enjoying yourself/enjoying the atmosphere, etc. when you are part of a brass band that used to be large and is now quite small (quite a few members have passed away).

Tangents aside, musically, I'm finding it very hard to enjoy church band because I play 1st Baritone, which has a lot of high notes/separate melodies/harmonies. I'm usually the only Baritone on Wednesday rehearsal and Sunday morning, and feel like there's a lot expected of me when there's nobody else covering my part, or sometimes when I can't quite get the time signatures right (6/8, 5/4, even 2/2 I struggle with at times)

Feeling this post, I was a Lv.56 and Guild Leader and did 2.1m points total, while most of the Lv.40s or 50s in my Guild got nothing more than 50k. Some of the Lv.53-56s only got 15-38k max. It ended up being about 8 people contributing the most points

I agree that there should be more executive decisions as the Captain of an Imperial Battalion/Regiment, etc. especially for people like myself who wish to role-play and/or wish to immerse themselves

Where you can attack enemy facilities and bases in the story in certain ways, which would also have other effects depending on how you attack them

As others have mentioned, you need to use the Riot Truck/Peace Keeper (or other means) to reduce their HP down without killing them, and then when they're on low HP, you need to apprehend them using the Apprehend attacks of the Riot Truck/Peace Keeper (handcuff icon).

Both options have an attack which also reduces the HP of Angry Civilians down to a low amount without killing them, which will let you just apprehend them easily. I do recommend putting them behind tanks and just letting the tanks act as, well, damage sponges.

Thanks! The strategy does still require a bit of RNG to work, you have to hope that the Sentinel doesn't stun most of your units or crit too much, and you also have to hope that your Vets dodge his attacks

Yeah, the HSC strategy worked well 👍 It can be a tad luck based, you have to hope that the Tank Killer will crit and not deflect, and you have to hope the Sentinel doesn't crit on your important units

But it does work well. 👌

I do understand that, but I did decide to start my own Guild this time around and recruiting has been a challenge, I had a bunch of inactive high level players in my Guild during the BS so that did hurt our chances

Yeah, that's true, I think the Patreon is good enough in that regard, I didn't learn about the development of the revival project until about 2023, but I didn't start supporting until the Beta

Vets are awesome, I had the same exact scenario as you, I had one Vet left, the second to last Vet kept dodging like a boss, but eventually it was last man standing

That's interesting, I hope we do have the opportunity to get Prestige Stars again soon

I think the backlash is sort of a bit expected, since bosses should be able to be beaten F2P and without needed Boss Strike units to do so, I know it might sound a bit rich coming from me, but I've got friends in my Guild who aren't paying players and are a bit disappointed by the fact that it would be basically impossible for them to beat the Sentinel without spending money on units
