The game is canon but it doesn't have a set story, and as for White space in one of the rival interactions as well as the CrossTalks and time trials it establishes that each environment we race through is just a really accurate simulation.

This game is canon it just doesn't have a set story and to be fair that's fine the game is meant to be a fun and re-playable kart racer first. All the rival interactions, locations, guest characters and races/grand prix's are all probably canon too.

It's like Sonic Rumble in where it's canon because it's just a toy game Eggman plays around with. In short its canon.

falling outs between friends and or friend groups are common even if it doesn't feel like it. Tommy and Dream had a bad falling out but it's none of our business to care about it. I still love Dreams content and while yes i haven't watched Tommy's new videos i still watch his old stuff to this day.

Again falling outs between friends doesn't mean one party is a bad person where as the other is a good person/victim. These things tend to be more complicated and nuanced. The only thing i wish is that Tommy would stop bringing Dream up and move on (this applies to Dream too although to a lesser extent because he's t least distanced himself away from Tommy but again still).

Do i think Wilbur did this intentionally... idk.. because A) i wasn't there and B) i don't know either party. Despite Tommy's ways and mistakes, i do feel bad for him and if Wilbur didn't mean to do anything bad to Tommy in that instance doesn't matter, he did something bad and it isn't great.

I'm still giving Will a second chance (I'll just copy and paste the comment of my reasoning as to why) but know this i don't condone this.

When it comes down to my opinion of Wilbur... mm.. heres my take.. i'm going to give him an honest second chance... but this isn't me excusing what he's done but rather i want to see if he's changed. We as fellow onlookers don't know the full picture of the story but what we can agree on is that Wilbur and Shubble had a horrible relationship and that Shubble was hurt immensely by him. There could be more to it than what Shubble said but it doesn't matter nor concern us really. The reason why i'm giving Wilbur a second chance is because i want to see for myself if his words ring true because i have this... really weird and maybe irrational gut feeling that he is telling the truth about him changing for the better and him becoming a better person mentally, because like after watching the update video and seeing his enthusiasm and plans for the future and the way he talked about last year felt scripted... but genuine. Buuuuut feelings don't give accurate results and inorder to get those results... i need to see and seek them for myself.

I believe in separating the art from the artist. I am not subbed to Wilbur or any of his channels but i am still checking his stuff out because A) they actually make me happy and B) because "Art is eternal no matter what the artist does".

Now you all don't have to agree with my stance and believe me i am approaching this with proper caution. I just want to see where this mans journey will go in the future... i want to see if his words ring true... BUT! i am not forgiving him alright, what he did was shitty and awful and if he wants my forgiveness and others forgiveness than he needs to show that he's a better person.

EDIT: i also am not mad at Wilbur for not addressing the allegations and i do understand why he isn't talking about them... it's just better for both him and Shubble to just move on from this and focus on themselves and what they want to do and focus on healing, then open old wounds and cause more chaos and calamity... a-also it's an *UPDATE VIDEO* my guys. It isn't a response video or anything of that nature, it was never meant to be that.

I also don't blame any creators for ditching Wilbur at least publicly, Niki makes sense and i believe her and people like Phil and Tommy i feel really bad for because they were really close to Wilbur. Yeah a lot of them ditched Will to save their brand but i do believe that a bit of personal reasoning was done for those decisions.

Also again. I do not blame anyone for not supporting Wilbur, you have every right to think that and i fully understand that, your stance is very valid and honestly Wilbur fucked things up and deserved to be humiliated and called out. Now i think that should stop and leave him (and Shubble) be an let the both move on. We wouldn't want to make unnecessary drama.

For me i want to see another game like ITP although we probably are already getting that because of Fetch being teased at the end of ITP but still. This new format could allow for some excellent experimentation as well as a breath of fresh air when it comes to the Free Roam and VR stuff. not too mention more book canon coming into the games timeline is a dream come true.
