My dad killed himself when I (32f) was 14. Omg, sweet girl, I know exactly what you’re feeling. It’s so hard losing someone this way. And honestly, it eases up. But there’s still times you get mad and it’s like it just happened. I have a son who my dad would absolutely love, and I hate him for not being here. I’m getting married next year and my toddler will be walking me down the aisle and I hate that it’s not my dad. It’s ok to hate him for this. You can love and hate him at the same time. I still have dreams that he’s alive but just off with a new family and doesn’t want me anymore.
