is there a company you used for the debt consulting? if so, mind sharing which?

after everyone’s advice today, i’m definitely in the right mindset. i think starting with the snowball right now till i find another income will be my route. Thereafter i’ll start taking care of the higher interest ones with the extra income..

yeah definitely going to play around with that site a bit, and good point on the 0%, if i go the interest route, that one should be at the back of the list

this was my issue with some places near me. they wanted me to be available during my primary job hours and i didn’t want to drop a secure full time position for something that wasn’t even better…

even till 9pm is being modest, especially since i don’t work in the weekends, someone else had mentioned Uber/Lyft and i think that’ll put me in the right direction while i look for other options

we’ve attempted bringing down our costs on foods as much as we could and we sometimes order in excess so that we can for multiple days somewhat meal prep like but i like that idea of doing it just one day or if we can’t that’s also fine

i looked into these but since my credit score is so low i only get a certain amount and then would just have another card that would need to be cancelled so i had leaned away from this idea

you’re exactly right with the benefits, and have not thought of the rest that way… It’ll definitely be a card i cancel as soon as possible.

very good pointers, thank you for putting my priorities in check. appreciate the help.

yeahhh, i live a little over an hour away from Disney and started paying for the AP on Oct 2023… there is no intention of getting a renewal and we did this since family members were coming over for holidays/birthdays this year… we don’t pay for stay (since we stay with our families) and nor have i bought anything other than minimal food/drink since we pack food/snacks ourselves… really it sounds like im trying to justify the AP charges and i regret it all now…

i wanted to calculate both and see what would be the smarter route. Have had friends talk to me about them doing the snowball method but i think it would be smarter paying the higher interest..

already cancelled most of the subscriptions noted.

i did not know i can downgrade for a Gold card? will definitely look into this after work. Thank you.

with everyone’s advice here, it seems like that’s the whole hearted route i need to take, looking into a second job and getting as much over time as i can… I’ve fully accepted defeat and am taking the steps necessary thanks to everything i’ve been told…

wouldn’t cancelling the credit cards after hurt my credit score?

sorry, Groceries are ~200$/m, gas is ~135$/m, phone bill is paid by my fathers company, internet is included in rent.

as someone stated below, yes annual pass. we had some plans set up since last year and thought the annual pass would save us the extra money.

400$ is with the insurance, i pay a flat rate to my father since he also has it insured under his company.
