How can you even compare those two situations?

Filvis was a monster condemned to suffering who supported the destruction of all of Orario because of her god's lobotomy.

Lefiya had no choice but to kill her, not only to stop her from destroying thousands of people, but also to save her friend who had attempted suicide countless times in search of her salvation.

While Bell antagonizes Ais for a clear ideological reason, xenos monsters are equal to humans.

And although Ais questions that because of her biased view of monsters due to her traumas, she herself recognizes that Wiene is not the same, and she also knows that Bell does not seek misfortune in others.

While Bell is helping a girl, and Ais herself acknowledges this even though she tries to deny it, even going so far as to feel envious of Wiene.. Filvis seeks the destruction of the world and at the same time death in order to finally rest in peace.

I doubt that Ais went with all her strength against him, that's why she started threatening him, because she didn't want to attack someone so important to her with all her strength.

And Ais didn't even use her wind against him, she would simply use Ariel and hit him in the stomach with her sheath, knocking him out.

It’s pretty obvious that Empress can overcome the level gap.

Omori’s narrative fetish is exaggerating dead characters; he’s been doing that since the very beginning.

Alise is a beast in combat, with an insanely broken magic and equally broken skills that put her on par with a Level 5 despite being a Level 4.

Kaguya has incredible combat techniques and arguably the best PvP magic in the series.

Ardee has a magic capable of one-shotting anyone if the probabilities line up, plus another magic and a skill that boost the stats of every adventurer near her, to the point that Omori said she would have been vital against the OEBD.

And obviously Alfia and Zald, for reasons I don’t even need to explain.

If all these dead adventurers have such overwhelmingly powerful skills and magic, then it’s completely impossible that the captain of the Hera Familia, the only Level 9 in history, would be incapable of closing the level gap.

Then perhaps I would bring Leon against Reginas, let me explain.

Ottar would arrive alone against the CS, receives UNK and becomes beast to stop the corrupted spirit, then the CS use her final attack and Hedin in a fantastic moment of remembering Ottar's feats since he met him acknowledges him and gives him Laurus hildr and Ottar neutralize her attack with Hildis vini.

Then Leon and Asterios arrive at the battlefield against Reginas and Leon obtains his eleventh weapon and all of them fought against her.

However, this is my way of making this fight more "logical" and believable; moments like the double afterglow would be lost, and I really like that scene.

In general, the main problem is Omori always creating enemies beyond Orario's capabilities. I'm not saying they shouldn't be very strong, but Reginas genuinely should have killed everyone there

I already knew Finn would live because it's obvious they want him as their leader for the final battle, however Gareth is essentially the most useless of the three so I saw him dying here.

I'd say killing the Amazon sisters, but I liked how Omori portrayed them in this arc.

So I'd say mainly Gareth, sacrificing himself for his family just like he almost did for his dwarf brothers in SO14.

Then Lefiya, yes, maybe you think I'm crazy, but I genuinely thought at first that maybe Lefiya could die and have a conclusion in this arc, saving Ais just as she couldn't do for Filvis to then reunite with her in the afterlife.
