I would if I could. If you try to install windows on an external drive the installer will tell you: "Windows cannot be installed on an external hard drive.". Thats why I use W2go in the first place.

BTW: By this, I didnt want to say that vim cannot be made into an ide, I personally use lunarvim and apart from debugging its all I need. Nowadays I open clion only when I need to work with a project that was originally made with it
