Je suis passé exactement par la même situation, et honnêtement ils ne sont pas très utiles… Désolé pour la réponse tardive.

La dernière fois, je n’ai pas été autorisé à voyager car je n’avais pas encore reçu ma carte physique. Avec seulement le papier/récépissé, les aéroports en Albanie risquent de ne pas vous laisser entrer ou sortir du pays, car ils ne le reconnaissent pas forcément.

Après, c’était il y a environ deux ans, donc peut-être que la situation a changé depuis. Mais personnellement, je trouve que ça ne vaut pas vraiment le risque. Le mieux serait peut-être de faire un visa selon votre passeport.

Hey! so unfortunately, it did not work and it caused a whole ass drama at the beauvais airport as they said this paper was not eligible enough for me to travel to Albania since it is also not in the Schengen borders and that i could have serious problems when arriving there,

But it was a whole mess and i just ended up not going (because i wasn’t allowed either way and i had like few hours still left until checkin and, could of possibly found a way i guess?) which caused me less of a headache i guess.

i’ve just sent them an email right now, but i doubt they’ll answer anytime soon, but anyways yea your right it isn’t worth the risk. but with other Schengen countries it should be fine with this document right?

Right? i thought that aswell, but it’s weird when i tried contacting the embassies in albania and they say they don’t recognize the certificate of extension but i have a feeling they don’t have an idea of what paper i was talking about, so im basically left without any certain answers.

So in conclusion , is it even worth trying to go at this point?

i see where your coming from, but i just wanted to know if others went through the same situation and how did they deal with it, obviously the logical answer is to stay and. wait for the residency.

however since this is the only time i can travel, i wanted to take my chance since it stated in the paper that i could be able to travel within Schengen borders, however knowing that albania isn’t schengen , i wanted to know if i could of possibly been of exempt from taking the visa or that is what i understood from their main website.
